These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Verket (the "Service"), operated by Alexander Cyon Consulting AB (org.nr 559074-4412), with registered address Elinshällsvägen 15A, 181 90 Lidingö ("we", "us"). By accessing the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. The Service
Verket is a software tool that lets users filter and search public Swedish company data. The Service is provided through https://about.verket.app and https://app.verket.app.
We may add, modify or discontinue features at any time. We aim to give reasonable notice of material changes that affect paying customers.
2. Account registration
Certain features require you to create an account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that takes place under your account.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe to be in breach of these Terms, abusive, fraudulent, or otherwise unlawful.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service in violation of applicable law, including data-protection law;
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or to other users' accounts;
- Scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract data from the Service in bulk except through interfaces we explicitly offer for that purpose;
- Use the Service to send unsolicited marketing to individuals identified through it;
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to derive source code from non-public parts of the Service.
4. Subscription and payment
Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe, our payment processor. By subscribing you authorise us, via Stripe, to charge the payment method on file for the applicable fees, including any taxes.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date through the account settings.
Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable. We may change pricing with at least thirty (30) days' notice before the start of a new billing period.
5. Intellectual property
The Service and all related software, design, and content (excluding open-source components governed by their own licences and excluding user data) are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose for as long as your account is active.
6. User data
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood that policy.
7. Warranty disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the company data shown in the Service is complete, current, or accurate. Always verify against authoritative sources before relying on it for legal, financial, or commercial decisions.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service is limited to the amount you have paid us for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory law, including under the Swedish Consumer Sales Act (konsumentköplagen) where it applies.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms. On termination, sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive (e.g. liability, governing law) will remain in effect.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will notify you via the Service or by email at least thirty (30) days before the change takes effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by Swedish law, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes arising out of these Terms will be settled by Swedish courts, with the District Court of Stockholm (Stockholms tingsrätt) as the court of first instance, unless mandatory consumer-protection law provides otherwise.
12. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be sent to privacy@verket.app.
